Delicious food, cozy shop, excellent service!. I came here on good friday night on the recommendations of the girlfriend because we were too lazy to cook after a workout. When you first walk in, we noticed that it’s a cozy little shop with the kitchen in plain sight. They have this big wok straight out of asia. You can order anything off the menu, the pictures of each item is posted on the walls. We ordered a C3 YuXiang shredded pork and a C8 Sweet & Sour pork. They came out of the wok looking exactly like the pictures and were absolutely delicious! The chef recommended us to use the sauce from the shredd pork for our rice. OMG it was sooooo good. Definitely pleased with this experience because all we wanted was something different from McDonald’s tonight, but we ended up stuffing our face with chinese food. Mmmmmmmm
Chef Special Fried Rice. Awesome!
Great food, great service!. I’ve been there a couple of times now for the chefs special fried rice. Absolutely amazing. My kids like it too. I now have them on speed dial, an absolute hidden secret in kingston. This unassuming place serves up tasty high quality Chinese food. Menu just got more authentic as well. Awesome place!
Beef spring roll. The beef spring roll is Super delicious, and I had Tomato egg soup it’s Pretty good too.01 Feb, 2015ShrimpPadthai. I have to say the Shrimp Padthai very tastyWorth a try
Best chicken pad Thai ever. Had chicken pad Thai and shrimp pad Thai a couple of times, I have to say they are the best in town.
Good food, good service. Family and I (2 adults and 2 small kids) decided to try the dinner for 3, Combo B: ( Tom Yun Goong soup (shrimp, lime, tomato, mushroom) soup, 3 summer rolls, rice or vermicelli, paneng curry chicken, beef and vegetable, shrimp pad thai and 3 cans pop) and hoped it would be good. When we called, we asked if we could substitute spring rolls for summer rolls offered in the combo. Not a problem. Weren’t sure what to expect but told to pick up in 25 min and food was ready exactly on time. Place is not very big for eat in but convenient for us, especially if ordering then picking up. Owner was very nice, polite and attentive to make sure I received everything I asked for/ needed to enjoy the food. He even added two $1 coupons off anything on our next order too. Got home and we were not disappointed with quality or quantity for the price. The soup was generously portioned in 3 containers for 3 people and we got the rice to go with it so impressed we also got one container for each of the soup bowls too. Food was very tasty and though we were hungry, it was easily enough for 2-3 good meals (including the leftovers) over the next few days. Spring rolls were a standard style ground pork/carrot mix, but were crispy and tasty (though would have been nice if they had a small homemade sauce to go with them instead of the plum sauce packets standard in most other chinese restaurants). Soup (mostly broth) was the perfect balance of taste if you like this style of soup, making you wish you had more. Be even better if the broth had a few more veggies/shrimp but won’t quibble on it since each bowl was a good portion for one. Paneeng chicken had good amount of chicken and veggies in the container. Nice taste and reasonable spice level for the dish (kids had no problem with it). Beef dish was also good but too spicy for the kids. If you have people who don’t like spicy, I recommend asking to tone down the spice at time of order. Didn’t know what to expect ahead of time but will next time. Shrimp Pad thai was not the best I’ve ever had but was very tasty nonetheless and not too spicy. Can’t comment on the other food dishes or combos but this was a very positive first experience and we’ll definitely try them again.
Chicken Panaeng. Taste & smell good with a little bit spicy
