The sushi here is decent. It tries to differentiate itself from the mediocre sushi restaurants in Kingston by being quite inventive/creative. Some of the rolls are quite good, while others are just strange. I do like that they use black rice in some of the rolls.
Great!!. I order takeout from O My Sushi at least once a week! It’s always fresh and delicious! They serve all the classic rolls as well as more creative dishes as well! I love the black rice and the many healthy options on the menu! Highly recommended.
Sushi for All. Having opened quite recently, O My Sushi has already become my favourite spot in town! They’re located right in the heart of downtown, with a cute interior and great music. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone! In fact they have rolls I’ve never seen at other places like the Ruby, the French Kiss, the Las Vegas, and the Yellow Submarine just to name a few. Although, I’m a sucker for their Pink Lady which is from their wide selection of vegan rolls. The place is always spotless and the service impeccable. They’re always so smiley and accommodating! not to mention how speedy the service is, and how the majority of the menu is under $10!! They’ve also got these handrolls on special for $1.50 that are to die for!! Definitely recommend to anyone no matter the occasion. Business, pleasure, or simply sushi cravings this is the place to go!!11 Apr, 2015Best Sushi in Town!. I had the salmon mania at O My Sushi and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, as well as the service, and of course the food!! The salmon was fresh and my food was made in practically no time at all. Definitely the place to check out next time you’ve got a craving for sushi!!
New Fave in Kingston. Been 3 times. Tried 6 different rolls. Never disappointed. Good portion for the price. Very clean. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Super friendly Korean owners. Can’t wait to go again. 😀
Delicious food, friendly service!. I’ve been to O My Sushi a few times already and it does not disappoint! The ambiance is relaxed (they play great music), the restaurant is clean and the staff members are really friendly. The French Kiss and White Dragon Rolls are two of my favourites. There are many options for the vegetarians out there. The ingredients are fresh and the plating is aesthetically pleasing. They use unique ingredients that I don’t often find in rolls from other sushi restaurants such as sweet potato, yam, tuna tartar, shiitake and more. The appetizer portions are fair for the price. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Simply awful sushi…. I ordered the red dragon/ green dragon roll for take-out an hour ago, and I have only eaten three bites. It had an overwhelming ‘fishy’ taste, which is characteristic of raw fish that is not at all fresh, and therefore incredibly unsuitable for use in sushi. This was surprising, as there was barely any salmon on top of the red dragon roll. They drizzled a few creamy sauces over the rolls, which was quite unnecessary and disgusting; the rice had an odd texture. I was not given soy sauce in the take out container… but honestly, at this point it really doesn’t matter. My stomach is making odd noises and I feel quite nauseated. Seriously, if you love sushi, do not go to this place. Yes, it is cheaper, but what you save in $$$ you’ll end up spending on Pepto-Bismol.
The Black Rice Sushi is the First Experience in My Life Especially Many Kindes of Vegan Sushi Are Fantastic. Vegan king and queen are all vegetaebles inside and covered with yam or avocado.green field and pink lady are soy bean paper rolls.
