Yes, this is Kingston’s best breakfast joint. Peter’s Place is one of those local gems that does exactly what you want it to do. I hope it never changes. It isn’t fancy (beige is pretty much the predominant note), there aren’t a lot of options but you just get a proper breakfast at a decent price. What else do you need? Unlike the people who run Morrison’s, the staff aren’t miserable, and in particular the short-order cook is a great guy with a very dry sense of humour. And he can cook eggs exactly how you want them. Great.
