Being a food influencer from Miami, I was definitely excited to explore Kingston’s food scene. My boyfriend and I had spent the day browsing around on foot, desperately in need of a beer before our return to Wolfe Island. I was so glad to have found Red House! They immediately sat us and handed us their alcohol menu which is filled with a variety of craft beers and what read as delicious cocktails. We weren’t starving but looking to eat something so we decided to share their pork belly sandwich and upgraded our fries to poutine. OH MAN. That sandwich was delicious! The navajo bread was a nice crunchy twist that reminded me of a deep fried arepa. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and had an asian sweet taste—-the slaw a nice pairing atop. We absolutely devoured their poutine and it was one of my favorites that I had eaten in my time in Canada. Would definitely recommend to other tourists as I really enjoyed my time here!IG: @KFitzEats
