Amazing Food!!!. I was in town and it was near diner time. We walked around the downtown and came across the Silver Wok. It may look like a shady restaurant from the outside, and may throw you off, but the food is amazing. I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, but none of the foods have come close to the taste of the food found at this restaurant. It is amazing and I recommend you try the food if you are in town.

I’m confused as to the mix of negative reviews on here? Silver wok is hands down the best Chinese food in town – and it’s obvious to note that Chinese cuisine is always better eaten in than taken out. I’ve had Chinese food all over the city, however, it is sincerely never as top notch as the ol’ Silverwok. Dine IN and try the General Tao chicken – it is super crispy out and juicy and moist on the inside – the portions are phenomenal. A huge fan of their veggie and noodle dishes, the Szechuan Chicken is amazing too. I could write a whole list of great dishes to try as the menu is pretty extensive, but half the fun in international cuisine is trial and error. Getting something you know you love, and picking up something else you’ve yet to try. When I’m sick, I always order the chicken noodle soup which is packed to the brim with noodles and flavourful broth. The service is always so friendly, and Yi and her husband are always so kind and welcoming when my fianc slip in for a bite or order some takeout. Bland? I’m not sure what you’ve ordered, but I’m genuinely surprised. Also, no one has managed to mention ‘better’ places in Kingston during their negative reviews, I would love to honestly hear some opinions on that. 🙂 Silverwok is amazing, and ill be coming back for as long as I’m here.
Surely, Not the Best…. The lemon chicken was chicken bits battered, fried and swimming in lemon sauce. Surely, this can’t be the best in Kingston? Can’t talk about the rest of the menu, but, the place looked run down and lunch was the regular bad buffet.
LOVE THIS PLACE. By far the best chinese food in kingson, and ive tried everywhere. especially good for vegetarian meals!
Great Chinese Food. I like coming here, always awesome to order the dinner for 3. Love the Almond Guy Dung, I think its called. Always lots of yummy food when you order the full course meals. My favourite chinese place in Kingston!
