Smallest portions ever. Ordered basic maki rolls a few nights ago and received the smallest portions ever. The same amount of money at Jina or Niji sushi can get you double the amount of food. We had to order Chinese food after because we were still starving.

Perfect dining experience on a Friday night. Eating here for years. Consistently good, impossible in Kingston.Ordered various sushi rolls and shashimi last night, all we’re perfect. Servers could not be more attentive. Ended with a complimentary dish. Highly recommended.

Unreal. My favourite place in the world. Ever. Great sushi, reasonable prices, always quick. Owners are so friendly (and pretty adorable). In love.

ALWAYS Great food and service. Sushi Ya is very good. Some restaurants are in a trendy, downtown location and don’t deserve the benefit of the higher volume business …Sushi Ya is NOT such a place…I’ve been going to Sushi Ya for years and it is always good , food is good service is good , the staff are all very nice. I’ve found other sushi places in Kingston disappointing for one reason or another…except for the one on princess at the end of university , that’s the other good sushi place, the rest are pretty so so or both poor and expensive.

The service here is really good and the food tastes amazing! I especially love their pork bone soup and soft tofu soup! Their rolls and sushi are also really good 🙂 It’s totally worth the trip 🙂 P.s. try their age dashi tofu!!

Chicken teriyaki. LOVE THIS PLACE, I hear their korean food is really good, but i dont care for spicy food, their service is great, their teriyaki is tasty and plentiful, just wish they would reply back when i apply for a job.
