Gross. It took about two hours to get are cold food and missing sauce. And to top it off half the chicken balls where old and had been re-cooked to a dry dark brown. So the chicken balls had been cooked 3 times after we took them out of the microwave lol. What a joke.
General Tso. Most of the items at VIP aren’t great. That being said, their general tso is one of the best on the planet, and at $5.65 at lunch its a no brainer for any budget students. For an extra dollar, get chicken fried rice instead of normal steamed rice. GET THE TSO
Awful. By far the worst Chinese food experience of my life. No flavour, undercooked chicken, poor delivery infrastructure. Only go to VIP if every other Chinese food restaurant in Kingston burns to the ground.
Fantastic food. Great food, quality is wonderful, and flavour is even better.. All in all, a wonderful place to eat or get food from.. Try their Cantonese Chow Mein and their Spicy Tingly Beef.. You wont regret it.. I Get it on a regular basis..
GREAT!!. The food was great. If you are looking for quick Chinese food to fill a craving this is a great spot. The chicken balls contained nice big pieces of chicken… NOT just batter!
I’ve only eaten here once but boy was it fantastic! We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the owner arranged the most delicious, 8-course meal for us. There were about 20 people in our party and everyone was raving about the food, even my parents who have been to many traditional Chinese banquets. The decor was very nice and the owners set up a nice little private area in the back for us. I can’t speak to how items on the standard menu taste, but if it’s anything like what we had, I would never go anywhere else again, and I know my bridesmaids have picked VIP as their go-to spot since that dinner too. Definitely looking forward to going back next time I am in town!
