Fresh and quality ingredients make this a must have Chinese lunch!. We have tried numerous restaurants and this is the one Chinese restaurant in Ontario we must visit once a week! Although not a fancy setting, the food is really the star and is prepared when ordered and comes out steaming hot and the vegetables are cooked to perfection…stir fried (not boiled!)…so theres a bit of a crunch in the peppers and the broccoli. No canned mushrooms here, these are fresh white button mushrooms which take the flavor of the stir fry perfectly. The beef is tender with no gristle and the shanghai noodles with the langoustines and twice cooked pork are authentic enough to have your taste buds traveling 5000 miles…yum! Want it fiery with a spicy kick, just ask for it. You also dont want to miss out on the hot green tea with its fragrant grassy, nutty taste. The owner says she looks forward to March when the tea is new in China and she can bring it to her restaurant.
Definitely a go to for Chinese food!. Best Chinese in town! Very fair pricing! Great people with exceptional service! Since trying Wong’s Garden we have not gone to or ordered from anywere else.
Small, not fancy but service is excellent. Very friendly and the food hot, fresh and very flavorful. Highly recommended and will return.
Wongs Garden Best Chinese In Kingston!!. By far the best chinese food in kingston..Foods always fresh and hot aswell as having some of the most friendly owners/managers (Joe&Ann) in Town..Location well, we’ll just leave it at that…lol
