Overall not bad, but with a little effort this place could be elevated from good to excellent. The Grilled mixed Kebab plate has an assortment of grilled to perfection meats that are very flavourful. It is served with a Mediterranean style rice which I like but my wife didn’t (she’s not a fan of that style of rice normally though) and a salad. There were a few grilled vegetables with the meats as well. Now don’t get me wrong, the meats on this dish were absolutely excellent and very tasty, but at $26.95 and being one of the restaurants most expensive dishes the presentation and acoutrements should be perfect as well. It wasn’t until halfway through our meal that we discovered that our dish should have had some taziki on the side, saw this on another customers order. Our waitress was surprised that we didn’t get any and got us some, which was very tasty. We ordered the mixed Pide which was excellent. I’ve been wanting to try one of these for awhile and was glad we did. You could call this dish a Turkish pizza and it is really, really good. The mixed Pide is divided into thirds with one section having ground beef, the middle has Turkish Sausage and ther last third section being ground lamb with tomatoe and green pepper. It comes with a small salad on the side with a couple of pickled hot peppers. We ended up using the pickled hot peppers with the mixed Kebab to give it that extra something that was needed. And this is what I mean by doing something extra to elevate the level from good to excellent. My wife feels that if some extra toppings that you get in shwarmas were on the side of the mixed kebab, like the pickled beets and tahini sauce, that it would elevate the dish. The atmosphere of the restaurant is OK too. The stone wall inside is nice and so are some of the various decorations, but again with just a little more effort the place could be nicer looking. They also have an outdoor patio with umbrellas. I liked what we ate, but with a little more effort it could be fantastic.
