  SSSOOOO GGOOODDD. We ordered the pizza for the first time tonight and it was super good. The dough was amazing and the sauce is delicious. We’re so happy to have found a great pizza in the sea of chain pizza shops in our area. We will definitely order again!

  They serve canned mushrooms. Not fresh ones, canned ones. And they charge you extra for each topping. Overall a gross sandwich. The user reviews for this place dont seem to add up.

  The meatball sandwich is AMAZING! The tomato sauce is killer and could have that with everything!Very homemade and delish!The staff is sooo friendly and helpful! Always smiling and always willing to serve you – best customer service comes from family owned businesses!Will definitely recommend this place!

  Cookin’ It old school at Saucy Kytchen. As a transplanted Italian-American from New York, this little joint at the intersection of Lakeshore and Cawthra has the best Italian sandwiches I’ve come across in Canada, let alone the GTA. Fresh ingredients, spectacular flavors, messy as hell, try them once and I guarantee you will become an addict. Wisely keeping it simple, the menu offers only eight varieties of sandwich, from an iconic Veal or Eggplant Parmesan to Meatball and Italian sausage or the more straightforward chicken, pork, steak or veggie. All items are house-made and use only prime cuts of meat. The sauce which deliciously drenches each sandwich was perfected with help from a chef from Italy, and you can choose to add cheese and/or a selection of sauted fresh mushrooms, onions and hot, mild or sweet peppers. The small, but immaculate, open concept kitchen seats only a few, but is perfect for take-out and their prices are beyond reasonable. Their all-day, every-day special for students (5.99 + tax for any sandwich and pop) is a fantastic alternative for the kids from the neighborhood schools like Cawthra Park Secondary, St. Paul Secondary, Byngmount Beach and Mentor College.Buon Appetito!

  Awesome sandwiches. I live in the area of lakeshore and cawthra and just had two of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had and i’m a sandwich guy so that says allot. Drop in and order the eggplant or veal but meatball is my next sandwitch well until i try them all, sauce was killer good and i’m so happy i had to post a review.Lee

  Delicious. -Awesome steak & onions/veil/meatball/chicken. Great customer service as well. I Got to try a few meatballs on the side during the short wait for a sandwich. Really good lunch & dinner destination

  Objective opinion. So because so many of the reviews seem to fall under suspicion I felt I should write a review. Yes if you notice this was my first review ( only because before this I felt no need to stick my nose into it). I’m a cawthra student and I LOVE saucy kitchen. It’s close enough that I fast walk there at lunch just to get a veal sandwich (and as an Italian I can say it stacks up well to the veal I make at home). The whole menu is fantastic (and vegetarian options are delicious). The service is so wonderful, the owner is so nice and my friends and I are frequently offered a taste of fava beans and meatballs (both of which are fantastic). Price wise it’s very reasonable considering i usually have half a sandwich left over (large portions). Overall a great place to eat, I would recommend it to anyone
