Chinese take out is a hit or miss. This one is a complete miss. Its a same menu as any of the same establishments out there that offer Chinese food. We had fried tofu, chicken wings, Shanghai noodles and shrimp foo yeung (omelette). Everything was not seasoned well. The foo yeung was too salty and the Shanghai noodles didnt have any taste aside from that hint of soy sauce. The tofu was burnt and too spicy just for the sake of being spicy. There was only three restaurants in this building but we randomly chose this one. Guys, this was our miss.
Honestly one of the best hofun style noodles I have ever eaten. Ever since I tried them here, nowhere else compares. I get them dry, and they are super addictive and delicious… Tried their taro bubble tea, it was alright… They take a while to prepare the food so expect to wait a while… But at least it’s made on the spot and fresh… A little inconvenient that they only take cash but it’s okay… Still cheap prices for a good amount of food. Seriously give their hofun noodles a try!
Great food great prices. For 5$ you can get a large meal that would cost 10$ elsewhere. Food is made frsh and quick with no shortcut on ingredients as it all taste fresh and not frozen. The squid taste like it was killed just seconds before cooking. , The foodcourt in Sauga chinatown seems reptitive with 3 stalls offering what seems to be the same thing but people keep coming back and it is quite crowded. Good wholesome food and has the atmosphere similar to hong kong and china. For a big plaza the food court is the main attraction, and I can see why.
