Last night my family visited your restaurant and we had the worst meals of our lives and service of our lives. The server was incredibly rude and out of 13 people only 2 genuinely enjoyed their meals. Several times I watched family members try to order something and the server just walk away and ignore them. I ended up having to follow her to the computer because she ignored me. Why did I have to do that? The service was appalling. I was instantly put in a bad mood and on the defensive. This nice family get together turned into a stressful situation for everyone involved. When I asked the server to check how long it would be until the kids meal would arrived she told me they will ring the bell when it is done. I know how kitchens work, I worked as a server for years while getting my education, so I politely asked again for her to check when the kids meal would be ready.This is not an obscene request. Her reply It wont make it cook any faster. Excuse me? I am a mother with a child who is hungry and I want to know how long it will take so I can decide if I want to give him a snack from his back pack. I was ready to walk out. The guests who ordered appetizers received them an hour to the minute after our server first arrived to greet us. An hour. We had 2 small children with us, is this what you would call acceptable if it was your family? So now we have 2 little kids who are completely finished their meals and who are crying and upset and we still have not received our main course. Out of 13 adults 6 of us had issues with our meals not being cooked to our specification. The lamb chops that were ordered as medium well were pink and bloody. My filet mignon was ordered medium rare and yet it was brown for half an inch down the steak. The two other filet mignon were ordered as medium and they were on the rarer side of medium rare. In this situation I would assume the server would apologise because it was quite clear to everyone that I had someone elses filet mignon, and they had mine. Nope! The server argued with each and every one of us and told us that this is how they cook their meat. When I brought it to her attention that my Medium Rare filet mignon was over cooked and pointed out that the ones done as medium were pinker she told me I was wrong. I have eyes, I took mine over to my step fathers and compared them side by side. He had mine but she was more concerned with being right than for her table to actually receive the meat they ordered. Just to recap, I told the server that my meat was overcooked, she argued with me and then she left the table. I ate one of the also overcooked and chewy scampis and pushed my plate away. When she came back 15 minutes later with 1 thing gone from my plate she asked if she could put the rest in a take home bag for me. Are you kidding me? I told you was dissatisfied with my meal, did you not hear me when I used those exact words? I expected more. At that point I was livid. I had been talked down too, walked away from (several times) and made to feel like an inconvenience. I told her again, this is overcooked, it is not medium rare and I cannot eat it. So, she argued because obviously she is always right. I showed her the other fillet minion and said I wanted mine done like that, medium rare. She wouldnt look. She finally said she would bring the chef out to talk to me. THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED WHEN 6 PATRONS AT 1 TABLE COMPLAINED THAT THEIR FOOD WAS INCORRECTLY COOKED!!!!!!!!!!!I told her no, everyone else was finishing their meals (besides the undercooked meat, most got packed up to go because they didnt want it) She walked away when I complained about my food and took too long to return, what was I to do? Wait another 40 minutes for food (thats how long it took for it to come packed up) and then eat while everyone waited for me? I said I was done and to remake it medium rare and to pack it up so I could take it home. We had now been at the restaurant for over 2 hours. I had very little to eat, I was hungry, annoyed and upset. After another long wait I got the meal back, cooked rare, it was red/blue. Come on people. They also decided that I didnt really need that other scampi. That meal went in the garbage, as I imagine the other pieces of undercooked meat you gave us did. Disgusting, what a waste of time and money. It is ridiculous that I can show a server 2 pieces of meat cooked so differently and she would argue that the rarer piece was medium and that the overcooked piece was medium rare. Why are you arguing with patrons? The chef should have come out when we all complained, our table was invisible. Your restaurant service was disrespectful and it ruined what should have been a lovely family event. I understand that you had a party in the back room, perhaps we should have been warned so we could have gone somewhere that actually wanted our business. We didnt see a manager, no one really came over to address our dissatisfaction we simply paid our full bill and left. Ill let you do the math. 13 people, 2 children with appetizers, Entres, bottles of wine on the table, coffee and dessert. Do you think how we were handled was fair treatment?

Something new?. It would be nice, if on this sight there was something recent to say about Konstantines. Most reviews, outside of a staff member, has been since February 2014. Anyone?
The good, the bad & the ugly!. So, this could be a review for the worst restaurant experience so far in my years of travel.We were told to go from friends who said the food was good but the service was slow( they were pretty bang on…almost)The good…..The server / host was gracious and nice, prompt to seat us.The bad….Took 25 minutes to get drinks served to us( group of 4). Place was busy but this is crazy to wait this long…..Food arrived in a sloppy mess on old 80’s mexican style plates and all us us looked at each other in astonishment as the chef had come by to tell us how great the food is! Lots of food, but with no thought in it all! For a fine dining place this is way off the mark!The Ugly….The chef was out of his head that night as he went around table to table telling us and guests next to us, how amazing he is and how lucky Lindsay is for his presence….We all wondered how we got along without him before …and how we will get on without him again…( we won’t return)He is the ugly of this place…also the Admiral Inn is a dump and still looks like it. I don’t think you could turn this Sow’s ear into anything!!!Just a heads up to the people who go here.. Get ready to be introduced to the Best Chef ever( in his head) That has ever come to Lindsay!!! His own words!!… We think he may be delirious!
Fantastic. We tried Konstantine’s for date night with friends. We found it to be lovely. Good service, good food, and the owners we great at circulating the room and ensuring we were happy with our meals and service. They even sent us appetizers and drinks on the house. I highly recommend a try if you havne’t.
Terrible. We went here on a Wednesday night as a special occasion. The food was terrible and the portions very skimpy. All of the vegetables were cold not just on 1 plate but all 6 plates. The schnel with a mushroom sauce there was not a mushroom to be seen and absolutly no sauce. The rice pilaf was a bit of rice with a tomato sauce plopped on top. And the dry martini had more water than gin or vermouth. All 6 of us would definetly not go back to this restaurant, and are advising all of our friends to skip it. Just not worth the money
