Unlike review of Feb the franchise has new ownership. Lighting has been repaired and replaced with modern eye friendly LED . Worn furnishings replaced. Husband and wife team that have worked hard to improve the place.
Needs New Ownership. I am a regular customer at this Coffee Culture location, and on more than one occasion I have witnessed how incredibly rude the owner can be to customers. Whether he blatantly yells across the restaurant at a customer inaccurately accusing them of speaking negatively towards him, charges a harmless homeless man for a cup of water, or carelessly does not hold the door for a customer with their hands full, he needs a serious attitude adjustment. Not to mention his work to break ratio. It’s a shame, and a really wonder how he keeps such polite, happy staff.
Manager Rips People Off. The manager at this location is a total sleeze. Every time he rings me through my order ends up being 2 or 3 dollars more than it should be. One time its not a big deal- mistakes happen- but every single time really? He plays it off like he punched it the right thing but i know how to add and 4+2+tax does not equal 10$. Total scam.
Coffee culture dundas. Drop in centre for homeless who just sleep in the restaurant all day. Staff who play the music too loud. Owner who refuses to provide paper towels in the mens washroom. What a dive!
Out of Business.
Good for lunch or snack. Better than Starbucks but about the same cost. They tend to take good things off their menu though.
Terrible Service. The location in London on Dundas Street is a challenge. The music is too loud and always rock and roll. The TV is stuck on news. Washrooms are deplorable-when they work. The staff varies from workers who care and those who have no idea what good customer service is. Unlike other locations like Kensington market and College Street where you can watch soccer or any other sport you want. It’s too bad that this location service for some of the employee’s are more important than regular customers.
