Clearly the best and highest quality sushi in all of Ontario. The sashimi bento box for $12 was prepared to perfection. Best sushi I know of for quality and worth 3x-5x the price easily in Toronto. The sushi chef is authentic Japanese chef who learned how to make sushi from his father in Japan (also a sushi chef). The attention to detail is superb and the cuts of fish are amazing (hand selected by the chef.) I have never once been disappointed.
Great Sushi Place. Was in town for business and stopped in for dinner. Great food, great value, great service. Couldn’t have asked for better.
Excellent little restaurant owned and runned by the most amicable of couples. The sushi is fresh, authentic and delicious! The decour is simple and unpretentious, the washrooms are impeccable, the dining space is small but comfortable. You can enjoy your meal by yourself as it has seating appropriate for one or with your friends. The menu is diverse and easy to understand, and the food is presented beautifully. Try it out, you will not regret it!

Great!. Friendly and incredibly consistent service.So many restaurants in London have good food but absolutely abysmal service, however Sushi Ya has some of the best service I’ve ever had. The couple that run it are very polite, friendly and attentive, moreso they always run the place themselves so you don’t have to worry about getting a random waiter. They will remember who you are if you visit regularly and their lunch specials are definitely worth coming back for. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. The only downside is that the restaurant is tiny so you might not get seats if it’s busy, don’t worry though, the tables have plenty of room to sit and eat at comfortably. Chicken, soup, salad, gyoza, edamame, rice, tea and a california roll for under $15 and service that just begs for a high tip.
Great little sushi hideaway. This is a small business which is run by a friendly couple who know their customers!The entrees range from $9.99 and up, friendly service, decent prices, but be warned… this is not ‘all you can eat’ for a flat rate.They have a great lunch combo selection (california rolls, miso soup, salad, rice, main item, and gyoza) for $9.99 to $14.99 depending on the main item you choose.They also have a fair menu selection. I highly suggest this place if you’re downtown and enjoy sushi. Be warned however, it is popular, but seating is limited.
