It’s the other Middle Eastern themed restaurant. Not Barakat either. Barakat is another one. I have deleted the wrong review.Sorry about that!So, Dandy’s (not Dooly’s) is very consistent. I have been a returning customer since 2005. They have good burgers especially the half pound homemade one. My favourite is the rib eye one.
What you’ve read from the other reviews is spot on. It was good in 2005 but I won’t visit the place ever again.
No More Bacon. New Management. Muslim food rules.. Ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger. Was substituted Turkey Bacon without being informed. When I asked I was told they no longer serve Pork, due to religious reasons. After 30 years of patronage I will never eat there again, and I encourage you to do the same…
Times not so Dandy. I have been going to dandys since 1998. Back then it was great. Now the burgers are thin and overcooked, and the new buns are weak. I still love the onion rings though they are still the same. Half the time I order them with my burger combo the guy forgets and gives me fries. Sigh.
Not happy. I’ve been going there for years and must say my lunch today was gross. They’ve changed their buns, the kaiser bun has been replaced by a ciabatta bun which makes it hard to chew, my bacon was artificial which was hardly cooked and I think it was turkey bacon. I ended up throwing out my burgar because it had a weird taste to it. The fries are not white and they also had a weird taste and killed by salty seasoning so they ended up in the garbage as well. The quality of their food has gone down considerably.
Woe is me. Went to my favourite burger joint in London on Friday and ordered my regular Dandy’s combo. Was called up to the counter to choose my toppings and Horror of Horrors they served the fries pulled out of a bag!!! I don’t know about you but the main reason I went to Dandy’s was to enjoy their fresh peeled and cut fries. GONE!!!!! to top it off they changed the bun to a harder, thicker bun. I ate half the burger and dumped the rest. If you are going to charge $10 for a burger you better have something that sets you apart from every other burger place out there. In my mind it was the fries and a decent bun. Both gone and so am I.
