Excellent place to dine. Go for the Coffee ceremony ritual, but stay for their enjera pancakes /flat bread and chicken curry. Visited with a Ethiopian colleague of mine. Truly a unique experience and really delicious food. For ethnic food lovers, this is a must visit restaurant. Can’t say much about the ambience though. It’s a bit on the dark and dingy side. But if you are only interested in tasting some great ethnic food and not gazing deeply into your date’s eyes, definitely give this place a try. Please use your fingers to dine, that’s the proper way.
Amazing Restaurant in London, Ontario. My friends and I went here to try authentic Ethiopian coffee. To get this service you have to call in advance or let the waitress know as soon as you order your meal. It ended up being a really unique experience. The waitress first brought out the beans as they were being roasted and let us smell them. Then she went back to the kitchen and brought out incense, coffee cups and a big bowl of popcorn. We aren’t sure why they bring you popcorn but it was really good! Then she brought us our coffee in a ceramic coffee pitcher. The coffee was really good and the price was unbeatable. For four of us, the coffee ritual came to $3.00 per person. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an authentic Ethiopian coffee ritual. Unfortunately we did not try their food since we had already eaten.
LOVE this place. I go here often and with enthusiasm. Enat offers a great price for SO MUCH food, and it’s delicious to boot. I would highly recommend this place. It’s my go to. The open kitchen offers a view into how freshly made the food is. From your table you can hear DeeDee chopping. Such a wonderful place, it feels like you’re at someone’s house for a home cooked meal. Love love love.
Huge Portions Best Prices!. Addis Ababa used to be my favourite spot for Ethiopian cuisine, but Enat has great prices for gigantic portions and the food is just as good. I ordered Doro Watt and my friend ordered the Enat Platter, we asked for them to be served on the same plate and it arrived very quickly and steaming. It was enough food for 3 or more people I swear, depending on how much you eat. We had so much left over, it was really quite a shame, so next time we’ll order one plate to share! 18carrotgold.com
The service was friendly. It was a small place with a nice and humble atmosphere. We ordered the Enat platter and it was awesome. This was my brother and I’s first time having Ethiopian food. The food was an assortment of chicken, beef, lamb and vegetarian options. Injera bread was complimentary with the meal. The waitress was very nice and kind enough to bring us traditional Ethiopian coffee after the meal. The coffee was slightly chocolatey and really nice for a black coffee. The food was very fresh and absolutely delicious. I will be returning again.
Look really hard and you will find. …one of the best restaurants in London. The service was fantastic, so polite and friendly. The food is phenomenal and cooked right in front of you!! The tastes are unique and the mead wine was a splendid addition. The price was just right ($60 for 4 people to eat and drink) and the atmosphere was peaceful, cute, and quaint! I’ve been three times in a year or so and I’ll continue to go many more times in the future!
