  This place is kind of hidden at Hyde Park and Oxford. Nice dcor and spotlessly clean. The host and server were very friendly and welcoming. We had two of the dinner sets, one with assorted maki and the other with curried pork katsu. Both came with miso soup and salad. Everything was fresh, very tasty and prepared with care. In my opinion this is one of the better Japanese restaurants in London. The menu also had some Korean options. Looking forward to our next visit. The prices are reasonable too.

  I have tried so many sushis place in different cities and I can tell nothing like Gozen! This is the best place high quality of food very tasty. Very clean place and very friendly stuff. I took the habit to go once a week now so far this is my favourite restaurant I highly recommend it !

• Fine Diner

  My partner volunteers for the ESL program and asked a Korean student where one would go to have the best Korean food in the city. She mentioned this place, I downloaded a copy of their impressive menu and made plans to have dinner there in the next few days. The menu also boasted of their excellent Japanese offerings and we decided that we would have a 2 country dinner.My partner had the avocado salad to compliment her order of Korean Bibimbap while I had the curried Japanese katso with breaded chicken. Both meals were nothing short of excellent. The menu had enough copious choices to satisfy most any palate.We arrived a bit before the crowd arrived- only 6 diners present but within 20 minutes the place was packed. Service was friendly and efficient when we arrived but slowed as we were leaving. Still only a minor inconvenience. Food was hot, place was very clean and prices good. We will return. What’s not to like?
