Always suspicious of restaurants within hotels however this place is a gem. The hotel is actually more of an Inn. The food , although somewhat limited menu, was excellent as was the service. It is a small venue so there is a limited amount of seating so make sure to secure a reservation. Would go back again ever wasn’t staying at the Inn-which by the way I a great place as well. Its always a bonus when you can find a nice place to stay that also has a great restaurant.
Great place to sit and be seen. Not so great to eat but surroundings are awesome, make sure to sit on the main floor or patio. Our group had booked two months in advance and they put us in the basement (called it the wine cellar) with as casual a waiter as I have ever experienced (spilt water on me and just tossed it off). Food was only so so with presentation more important then taste.
Terrible. A couple recommended it to us but forgot to mention the food is bland and not worth the price. Will not be back and will not recommended it to anyone.
Nice ambiance . Pretty old yet well maintained castle / inn. Food presentation is good but taste is Ok. Limited menu option. Service is again awesome. Try worth once.
Lovely renovated space, food is impeccable!. The renovated building is just gorgeous, and the staff are very attentive from the moment you walk in. They will definitely try to ensure that you have everything that you need. The food is absolutely amazing, and the portions are a good size. They do not compromise on the quality of the food here. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Even their salad dressings are homemade. The food is not cheap, but in my opinion it is most definitely worth it in order to have such a wonderfully prepared meal. The prime rib is huge, and to die for! Crisp brown exterior and so tender inside! The caesar salad is fantastic with real bacon and parmesan. They make the bread in-house (I could fill up just on that!) and they serve it with Tasting Room olive oil and aged balsamic…delicious! The stuffed chicken was also fantastic. Their brunch is also amazing…with fresh in-house baked items, and dessert too, is all made fresh in the restaurant. If you want a good quality meal this is the place to go. You pay a bit more, but like the saying goes…you get what you pay for!
Have tried almost everything off the dinner menu and have never been disappointed.
Who advertises bread pudding and then serves an undercooked crepe?!?!
