The King’s Inn Dinner is a long time favorite on mine. With prices even broke *ss students can afford. Tasty, well prepare meals for all to enjoy. One of the cleanest dinners too. The staff are all well guided by a long time boss lady/manager that runs a tight ship;). Fast, Friendly service. EXCELLENT choice for breakfast or lunch. FOODS always good and presented well. Bright and clean environment too.

Okay, if you judge a book from its cover , you might hesitate entering this unique diner and, miss the opportunity to have one of London’s most reasonably priced breakfasts. The interior is two tiered with red chairs resting on a black and white checkerboard, and I might add, very clean floor. The walls are brightly coloured and ripe with pictures. We were among the first diners to arrive this Sunday morning and service was outstanding. We’re barely seated when needed coffee was poured and it was very good down to the 3 cups we both ended drinking. Our order was taken and served barely 5 minutes after the waitress wrote it down. Have never had service this efficient anywhere.I ordered the all day breakfast special consisting of 3 eggs, home fries, 3 strips of bacon, 2 pieces of rye toast and bottomless coffee for $7.00! Everything was cooked perfectly. Partner had the French toast with a side of bacon and coffee. She declared her breakfast to be excellent.Parking is free on Sunday but it may be advisable to get down before 9 to grab something on the street. This place has been around for 17 years and is only open for breakfast and lunch. I give it a rare 5 overall. You gotta eat here!

Back in the 19th century a trend emerged in Europe where great musicians with extraordinary talents were celebrated. These musicians such as Wagner, Liszt and Paganini, to name a few, were called virtuosos. Fast forward to the ’80s and the early ’90s just before Kurt Cobain killed rock n’ roll, this musical virtuoso movement emerged again among rock n’ rollers. It was a very interesting phenomena to watch because the same people who party hardy with sex, drugs and rock and roll, so much so that it would make the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen rise their eyebrows, are the ones who would lock themselves in their rooms for hours on end every day practising their musical instrument skills. When you watched these guys played, though, it always looked so easy while in reality it was anything but. Witnessing all that made me realise how true it is when people say that virtue always seems effortless and it holds true not just in music but also in all other crafts such as, culinary and service industry.I am sure we all have come across restaurants that serve good food and provide good service day after day without any fuss. Every time you visited you walked away satisfied – every time. But, because the prices were very reasonable, nothing pretentious and there were no fanfares or ‘special effects’ you would feel at ease and it didn’t feel like a stuffy special occasion venue at all. As a result, you became a regular. Make no mistake my friends, it’s by design and a result of hard work and there lies the genius of it. Such approach in restaurant business is apparently what Marco Pierre-White currently is striving for these days after he shunned Michelin Guide and their stuffy stars and returned all of his.In my opinion, King’s Inn Diner is one of such establishments. I am a repeating customer – Granted, I haven’t tried a whole lot of their menu but the ones I tried were good. I guess to me, their main appeal is that they treat me well without being fake. They do not incessantly come over asking if everything is OK and treat people like some kind of royalty. Don’t get me wrong, they refill your coffee and they are prompt with service but they also keep it real.
