You know a Chinese/Tai restaurant is going to be good when most of the customers happen to be asian… Which Macau almost always is. Based on the opinion of my friend whom lived in china for years said that it was one of the most authentic tasting dishes he has had since being back in Canada.I usually get them to make me Kung-Pao and it is wonderful! As far as I am concerned, Macau and Chopstick House make the Best Kung-Pao in London! If its your first time there I would recommend getting one of their combo’s as they offer a variety so you can hone your senses/tastes to what you like, or the Dim Sum, which seems to be their most popular dishes. The service is great (aside from slight language barriers depending on staff, but regardless are always very sweet and polite with a great big and contagious smile). I am pretty sure they make their own Plum and sweet and sour sauce. Their chicken balls w/sauce are delicious, and maybe the best in the city. I always forget to ask when I am there if they make the sweet and sour like they do their plum sauce, as I am too anxious to get back home and crack open the chop sticks! They also, like many Chinese/Tai food eateries, give great portions… a dinner for two would feed three or four and a dinner for four could feed 8! If you ever get the chance to stop by this little hole in the wall in the plaza on Wilkins close to Wellington Rd. south London, do it. You and your family will not regret it. Keep in mind that it is a very small restaurant, but still has at least six or seven tables, maybe more… so you might want to call ahead to make reservation or to check if seating is available before taking the family down for dinner.

More Cantonese on the second menu. The Cantonese owner assessed us as really Chinese, and sent out a second menu with both English and Chinese writing. When there are choices with bitter melon available, daviding.com
