Not recommended. I am not impressed with the service here. Customer service is expected and my preference is to deal with friendly humble people. They changed their buttercream, but unfortunately it still tastes like duncan hines and the cakes are always dry. I will admit they are pretty, But as a paying customer for the prices they are asking??? I will take simple so I can serve my guests quality food. To me, it seems they focus on the looks instead of taste. Just my opinion,
Great customer service! I…. Great customer service! I was looking at the Melrose website & called to ask some questions about their wedding cakes. The girl on the phone was so helpful. I even booked an appointment for a free cake tasting!
Holiday goodies. I had the pleasure of enjoying some goodies from Melrose Bakery over the holidays and they have such great cookies, cupcakes and pastries that are always fresh and delicious! And the gingerbread? Soooo good and I’m not normally a fan of gingerbread 🙂 Ill be calling you for a birthday cake soon because everyone always loves the buttercream icing. Happy New Year to the team at Melrose!
Horrible Flavor And Stale Ingredients. Absolutely appalling cakes. There were dust balls in the icing and the cake tasted like box mix, probably from a distributor. I’m shocked that so many people are okay with this and think it actually tastes good. I’ll be taking my palate elsewhere where ingredients are freshly made. Quality beats speed, especially when it comes to baking. This is something I don’t feel Melrose realizes.
Best Bakeshop. Everything they make is delicious ! The danish is the best I have ever tasted and the cakes are amazing. I have had several flavours of cake and they are all. amazing (especially the butter cream) . Thanks Melrose!
Finally got to try one of Melrose’s vanilla squares. Absolutely scrumptious! Not too sweet, a fantastic custard filling, and light, flaky pastry. Now on to my profiterole!
CUPCAKES 2 DIE FOR….. I’ve been eating Melrose cakes and cupcakes for years and the quality and service is A++. My family truly enjoys their cupcakes. They are always a big hit at our functions:)Keep up the Great work Melrose Bakery!!!
