Although this is advertised as a bakery it does miss the bread component and specializes in pastries and specialty cakes. Family owned and operated for the past 50 years it has been the baker of many wedding cakes. Cupcakes are colourful and sweet. Not for the diet conscious but worth the visit.

BEST PLACE EVER. I have been a customer of Melrose Bakery ever since I can remember. The product is made from fresh ingredients. Real cream and butter in the butter cream icing, none of that waxy garbage you get from a grocery store. The signature Dutch cream cake is my personal favorite. I ordered my wedding cake and cannot say enough how beautiful it was!The decorators were beyond helpful. I had no idea what I wanted and they were professional, polite and full of incredible ideas. My guests raved at how spectatular the cake was and how good it tasted. I will always refer friends and co workers. This place is top notch.
