London is home to so many good restaurants but most diners tend to be territorial, or limit themselves to just a few favourites and only leave the door open a crack for trying something different like this place. It is family owned- a plus in my books- and located in a small plaza in East London. It is truly a veritable diamond in the rough. We arrived here just after the doors opened at 8 AM on a. Sunday and were the first customers of the day. We both had the standard breakfast of 2 eggs, toast, bacon, home fries and coffee. Everything was cooked or brewed perfectly and the coffee was outstanding. Taking the time to make home fries rather than cooking from frozen also raises the bar for me in review rating. Our server was as good as it gets. All in all a good experience. The only reason I did not rate this a five overall was that we haven’t sampled their lunch menu yet. Breakfast rates a 5. Good service, good food, clean interior, comfortable seating and excellent prices. You gotta eat here!

My friends, and I eat at Mary’s Place twice a week. Food is always excellent. Service is great, and waitress’s are very friendly. Never had a bad experience yet. We have been going there for almost a year.give it a try. Judge for yourselves. Your sure to go back, after eating at Mary’s.
My vote for worst food in London Ontario.. I recently started working around the corner from this place so I was motivated by convenience. My new coworkers said they wouldn’t go back after eating there before but I’m a fan of greasy spoon restaurants so I gave it a try. Twice. The first time I got a grilled cheese and fries. While I wasn’t expecting a health food meal, I also wasn’t expecting the pool of grease which I’ve come to expect as their signature presentation. A pool. You could swim in it. The next time I went (sucker) I decided to go for some thing a bit more surefire. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, homefries. Oh, and grease. Lots of grease. It was like they saved the grease from the pool of my previous visit and added it to my breakfast. Did I mention the grease? Plenty. Other than that, the food in both cases was bland and the homefries were uncooked but still, you guessed it, greasy. Eggs were just warm, bacon was hot. Toast was dipped in butter. Would I go back? Maybe, if I buy a car that runs on biodiesel.
AWESOME. My new wife and I went there for lunch today and it was fantastic, we highly recommend this place, great service, the best Italian food in the city. This place has the cleaniest washrooms around, they take good care of there clients, all the best in 2014.
Went back again on the weekend and had the speghetti and meatballs. LOVED IT!! This is the place to go for authentic Italian and definately reasonably priced. The service was great and I really like that this is a family business. Give this place a try and ORDER THE ITALIAN FOOD.20 Oct, 2012I had the meatball sub which was pretty good. It was homemade meatballs and marinara and both were very good. The only thing i would change is putting more sauce on the sandwich. The portion size was ok for lunch but you would have to get something else with it for dinner. My husband had the breakfast which really wasnt alot of food and neither of us is a really big eater so we were a little surprised. Over all i think this place is worth a second trip but i will remember to ask for extra sauce!
