This place is a hidden gem. The fish and chips are so good! The price is great. The place itself is not too fancy but it’s always clean and stuff is really good.
The place is located in a strip mall behind a gas station by the giant ice cream cone off of Southdale road. Safe for a sign on the side of the road that shows the name of businesses located in the strip mall, there is no other telltale of its existence that you can see from the road. Despite all that, if you go there for dinner on a Friday night, expect to stand in line and if it happens to be cold outside, bring a jacket because, chances are, the line may extend out the door. By the way, I would love to take picture of the line but I think it may upset some people so I didn’t.My favourite is the 2 whitefish and chip combo with additional 4 shrimps. The orders have always come out in a timely manner, the fish pieces were generous and light (no heavy batter taste) and the chips were good.No picture of the fish, chips or shrimps either because, every time, I would be too overwhelmed by my desire to devour the whole thing the moment I got home to remember to take picture. Sorry, maybe next time.
