This place is slightly sketchy and really tiny, basically a hole in the wall but damn is the food ever good. The portions are HUGE and the prices are excellent, but there isn’t space to sit down and eat so be sure to plan accordingly! We ordered the Jerk Chicken (not as spicy as I would have liked it but still very good), the curry goat, and the oxtail and they were all excellent. Each platter comes with a large amount of dirty rice, a slice of plantain, and your choice of coleslaw or mixed veggies. The owner is a very kind person and very relaxed, don’t be afraid to start a convo while you wait! 18carrotgold.com

FANTASTIC FOOD. Jerk chicken and pork was absolutely delicious and only $9.50 for a very large portion. A great deal. Would definitely recommend this place.
Delicious jerk chicken. The food is amazing and the owner is always friendly and helpful. The jerk chicken has a great balance between heat and flavour. Great value – $9.50 for a huge portion of chicken, rice, coleslaw and a plantain. Will be back to try the other items on the menu soon.
Great authentic food. Very friendly, reasonable prices. Love the roti! The heat lamps dry out the plantain, it’s all freshest for lunch. $11.00 for large takeout and ginger beer.
Amazing value, great owner. I ordered Jerk Chicken, ox tail and salt fish, all of which were amazing. The restaurant owner was also very lovely. If you are looking for good food for a great value, this is definitely the place to go. Will be returning in the near future to try the other dishes 🙂
