Food is really good here and quite reasonable. Their fresh, stone baked pitas are unique in London. Hummus is delicious too. Staff is quite friendly. They have some tasty middle eastern sweets, but they are quite pricey. The only disadvantage is the location.

Horrible service, horrible food. There French fries were soggy and the falafel is the worst falafel I have ever tasted! Barakat is a better place to eat.
New MANAGEMENT!!! NEW AMAZING HEAD CHEF. It’s under new management now and there’s a new head chef!! the food was so good!! The tawook was a hit for us! We also got a mixed plate of shawarma, it’s 10 times much better than the previous owners it’s so juicy and mouth watering!!! We’ll be back in a week for sure!!
Nothing Special However Good Environment and Outstanding Service. Paramount was great when it first opened, but it’s slowly declining. The food’s not bad, depending on what you order. Bread is always spot on, same with the kebabs. Service is really good, staff/servers are always always pleasant! Very good management as well. Nice environment. But with all of that said, it still doesn’t stand out for me. I mainly come here for the bread to be honest! However, I must say that the times I didn’t enjoy Paramount were in the winter, and as with most restaurants, summer is always a more enjoyable experience overall. Side note, lately, the cleanliness is lacking a bit. Dishes, forks, and utensils were all smudged last time I was there. Table was also not wiped and had grease marks and crumbs all over. One more thing, the tables weren’t in good condition. I’m a clean freak, so naturally I observe restaurant conditions to a t!
What is the word opposite of paramount? oh yes inferior… I went to this restaurant a little over a month ago with a friend and we were very impressed with the service first and the food second. We were greeted by several nice staff asked where we wanted to sit, the restaurant was somewhat busy and the lights were dimmed, this particular time the waitress was more than happy to make some suggestions and add a few things for us to try, we ended up ordering Turkish coffee, a mixed grill, hummus with beef and chicken shwarma, they kept bringing fresh pitas, hot sauce etc and baklava to take home, we were pleasantly surprised and left super happy. On to my current review I went to the Paramount with a date this past Monday at 5pm, not sure what we were thinking… Walk in, no one there to greet us at all, maybe one family eating and maybe one or two staff visible that would not even make eye contact, finally directed to sit at a seat in the center of the restaurant (why?) lights were super bright showing up the smudges on the clean dishes on our table. Waiter arrives and i ask this time for the Turkish coffee, the waiter points to a self serve coffee station and suggests we can help ourselves, i refused this and he came back with two Styrofoam cups with cold black sludge. I should have put a 5$ on the table at this point and just walked but… we stayed. anyways we ordered one plate of shish tawook a few falafels which took forever fresh pitas were brought but no offer of hummus or any suggestions at all, the shish tawook plate lacked any luster at all, had to ask for the side of hummus that comes with it and hot sauce and water. A few people had come in at this point and were being offered pre packaged hummus and salads from the counter this made it so our server at this point was way too busy to check on us or bring fresh pitas. The plate just wasn’t that good, I went over selected some baklava to go and asked for my bill. This is the best part, my bill was just under 20$ as i would have easily paid a 5-10$ tip for great service and had that on me I decided I would put a 20$ and a 10$ in the bill fold to make some change, well i got back two fives and some change. This guy thought he was smart and i would have to tip him a 5$ which i already had in my wallet. At this point i reached in my pocket and gathered up my coins to equal the tax on the bill, I should have said something and not tipped at all but at this point our server was non existent. There is much better middle eastern food in this city, it is a shame because the building is super nice and i did have a great time there before but will never go back to this establishment.
Amazing experience!. A friend of mine and me went here one late night for dinner. we got pitas, Hummus with Chicken and Beef, 2 Falafel, the Mixed Grill which had lots of stuff and also tried the Turkish coffee. we also got a mix of desserts to take home. all in all the food was amazing. it was tasty and hot. the servive was fast and the staff were so friendly, answered all our questions and were polite. they were always bringing us out more hot pitas and sauces to dip. we had a great experience and will def be back
