I enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal at this third location of PMK (in addition to the original location in Wortley Village and the recent conversion of GroundUp Cafe to PMK Cafe on Richmond). Even though I am used to the tasty PMK offerings at their other locations, I did not expect such a fine dining experience at their bistro. The eatery itself is cosmopolitan, and the menu relatively extensive. It actually had more offerings than expected, with several options for each course. I had the raw wraps app, which were fresh, generously portioned, nicely presented, and accompanied by two flavourful dips. I had the linguine special as my main, and even though not large in size, it was large in flavour and ended up being just the right amount, especially after the filling appetizer. Since the mains tend to run on the conservative side portion wise (which is good because there is less gluttony and waste 😉 I would highly recommend ordering an appetizer. I topped it off with an incredible chocolate cheesecake, also fresh, tasty and generous in size. My fellow diner had the flatbread appetizer and ravioli main and was equally happy with both. They are VERY accommodating to dietary requests so if you don’t like onions or mushrooms (like my friend) they will easily and happily remove those items and substitute with something else as appropriate. This is a HUGE lesson that The Rhino Lounge could learn from. Hats off to the PMK enterprise for such a successful and surprising fine dining experience.
Plant Matter Kitchen is a must go to restaurant when visiting the London,Ont.area. I have been numerous times with family and friends and have even had functions held there with everyone raving about the food and service. Definitely one of the best dining experiences you can have.They just added an outdoor patio as well! I highly recommend!
Came to this restaurant at the suggestion of friends. Was a bit unsure as I am not Vegan BUT I can tell you I was pleasantly surprised. The food was not only delicious, but fresh, appetizing and plenty to choose from. I cannot recommend this place enough.
The food, staff, and atmosphere were all wonderful!! Such a fresh and friendly place. I will definitely return. Staff were very informative without being pushy. I really enjoyed the Caesar salad.
Went here last week with a buddy who is trying vegan food. He ordered the Mac and Cheese and I got an Andersen Beer (of course) and soup of the day.The food came out fast and SO fresh. It is great to see that they cook your meal right there. The server (Kelsey, I think) was knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. It is her fault however, that we ended up splitting a donut 🙂 WE could NOT resists after her description of them.I will go back, over and over again.
Amazing food, great service and excellent atmosphere! Have had most of the items on the menu and haven’t been disappointed with any of them yet!
