Love this place. We first tried the River Room during Londonlicious of 2013 for brunch. Absolutely wonderful. They bring out a basket of little muffins and breakfast pastries to start, with your choice of drinks (mimosa, caesar, whatever you want – great way to start a Sunday). Brunch there is always a delight. The view is wonderful, the staff is charming and friendly and I’m always impressed when we go.I would love to have a private party here one day. It’s such a nice place. thelittleredspoon.com

Fantastic – thank you Londonlicious. Went with some friends and gf during Londonlicious. I only have a few pics here but I had the mushroom & goat cheese tart, so great. Gf had the PEI mussels and said was very good. The bread is made in house and was phenomenal, so good with the broth. I had seafood risotto for main, gf had ribeye (overdone and they did not ask how she would like it but came out later and asked if it was done right – only downfall I think), friend had the gnocchi and it was also very good. Overall, everyone was very pleased with their meal and would go again, if not for the fact that they are not open to the public for dinner. Too bad but thanks to the River Room for joining in on Londonlicious. Dessert for all was either the apple fritter, made in house, or the chocolate pate. Pate was great, fritters were good. Chose the wine pairing and picked my own but others had the server choose and she did a good job. Very fancy place, would definitely go again. Nice view of the river if you are close to the window – the water fountain was on and shooting, good view. Want to try brunch, menu looks good. Go if you get a chance.

Londonlicious Dinner. If you get the chance to go here for dinner for Londonlicious, GO! They are not normally opened for dinner and the food was fantastic. My parents had both been for brunch, but this was my first time! The bread they had for us was so incredibly soft and the flavor was excellent, herbs i think? My mom and I started with the Wild Mushroom and Goat cheese tart. SOOO GOOD! The pastry itself was so flaky and delicious, and if you love goat cheese as much as I do, you will love the inner filling! It wasn’t an overpowering goat cheese flavor and it married very well with the mushrooms. My dad got the mussels, very good and well portioned, broth was very flavorful. For the main I got the gnocchi: the pesto sauce was very good and the gnocchi itself was rich! The tomatoes were great with it because they cut a but of the rich flavor, but there were only about four of them! My dad had the seafood risotto: the flavor was excellent. If you love lobster you will love the lobster broth. There were loads of clams, mussels, monster shrimps, and a monster scallop. My mom got the sweet pea ravioli: this had a very unique flavor, very summery, light and very good! For desert my mom and I had the apple fritters: i love any kind of donuts so this was a hit for me. We both wished there was a bit more of the salted caramel salt though, because it came with three decent sized donuts! My dad got the creme brulee, it was very good, but the portion was small unlike the fritters. Overall, you should definitely go to this restaurant for dinner while you can! The staff are super friendly and seem knowledgeable about the food and wine! Also, it is very nice inside and you get to look out the window to the river (as long as you have a window seat). Trust me, you wont be disappointed, it was a fun night!!

I recently had brunch there with a good friend of mine and I just wanted to say I’ll definitely be back. The food was fantastic! I loved the mini muffins we had as a small starter. The breakfast items are rich, savory and a little something different- which is exactly what London needs. My friend and I also indulged in a delicious dessert, made in house, by their wonderful pastry chef. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and informative. The house chef made his way through the room to touch the tables and ensure everyone’s meals were enjoyed.Knowing the owner is also in the catering business, I would highly recommend this venue for a private party or even a beautiful and intimate space for a small wedding. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and chic. The photography displayed are beautiful and nastalgic prints of NYC.Overall my experience from start to finish was lovely and memorable. I will be back!

Great new place!. I’m glad a found a review of this new restaurant on this site! The menu was delectable, the prices and portions were excellent, and the view was one of the best the city can offer! The decor is amazing too. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and the service was quick. We had the seafood crepe and house salad, and the reuben sandwich with fries. There was the perfect amount of sauce/dressing and seasoning on it all and the portions were big. Everything tasted amazing. I will most definitely return here! Spread the word!

Ate here last week and the food was good. what I found unpalatable was the fact that the best venue in the city in the most historic location is being touted as ‘Tribecca chic’. the owners have missed the boat here (most likely the Victoria)

Amazing New Spot. I had a great lunch experience at a new London Restaurant and I would love to get the word out about the great food, service and atmosphere in a truly local establishment. The River Room (cafe and fine dining) in Museum London is newly opened but you would never know. After the wonderful first impression I received from the greeting staff and restaurant atmosphere, my expectations were high. When the very reasonably priced lunch menu arrived with an assortment of high-end food items and dishes – I was thrilled. Everything sounded deliciously mouth watering and making a choice became tough. Surrounded by a beautiful view of the river and lots of natural light, I knew this was going to be a great dining experience. I ordered the seafood crepe with a house salad and was shocked at the generous portion sizes when it arrived. The taste cannot be ignored; the flavors all blended extremely well making the dish quite enjoyable. I highly recommend the River Room to anyone looking for a new dining experience in the city, this is sure to become a favorite local spot!
