A family group of 20 had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I commend the server, Jen T Bar, for providing excellent service to such a large group all by herself, without ever losing her composure. Breakfast menu selections and quality were excellent and reasonably priced considering the restaurant is part of the very popular Best Western Lamplighter hotel. Everyone appeared to enjoy the ordered food items and the coffee cups were kept filled – Jen left carafes on the tables!
We stayed at the Lamplighter inn and went downstairs to Shellys for a leisurely breakfast. Hubby and I ordered crepes. His had eggs inside and mine had fruit and whipped cream. They were both delicious. We were so full we didnt need lunch! Our kids had French toast bites and pancakes. Both very good. We appreciate the paper straws we were given. Our bill was a little high ($40) but we saved by not having to buy lunch so it all worked out. The service was excellent. We shall return.

Our first impression was that it was clean and welcoming. Servers were friendly and efficient. I asked for a side order of fries that wasn’t on the menu and there was no problem getting that added to an order of jumbo chicken wings. Lots of meat on the wings! The fries are hand cut and delicious! My husband order the chicken Pad Thai and said it was as good as any he’s had before. Lots of choices on the menu. Theme nights with special menus. We’ll be back again!
