My sister and I tried this small BBQ restaurant after reading the reviews. The menu was small, but it packed a punch! There was a regular menu, with specials listed on a separate board. The brisket was scrumptious. Tasty and satisfying. The brioche bun was fresh and absorbed the juice from the meat nicely. The service was fast and attentive. I would go back next time to try the pork belly sandwich.
Had the chance to visit here on a recent visit from the states and Ill tell you, this was done of the Best hot pulled pork Ive had. Really spectacular! Steam Whistle seems to be the beer of choice in this crowded five table place but the staff is friendly and efficient. Cash only here, but you have access to an ATM right inside the dinning room.
Shmokey’s is an amazing smoked BBQ joint… right here in London, ON of all places. It is head and shoulders above all the other BBQ places in town and really is in the same league as the best BBQ I’ve tried in the south. Do yourselves a favour and check them out.
