Mine and my daughter’s date spot 🙂 Cool atmosphere , huge portion size buuuut pretty bland really… I do recommend it tho its one of those places ya just gotta try 🙂
I was very impressed with the portions. Just huge. But not happy with receiving canned mushrooms and the sauce was quite watery. Fettuccine was great.
Four of us went for an early dinner here. First impression is that it was dark but your eyes adjust and you get to appreciate the wonderful eclectic dcor. The servers were friendly. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable. But the food isn’t that great. We ordered the Seafood Fettuccini, Fettuccini Carbonara, Fettuccine Alfredo and Fettuccini Primavera. The vegetables were not fresh, they were frozen, the mushrooms weren’t fresh either, they were canned. The flavour was bland. I wouldn’t return.
Their pasta was a huge portion and the food was actually really good, at least for my taste. But the staff seemed seriously overworked and very short with us. Took a fairly long time for our drinks and orders to come through. Overall the food is good but maybe they could hire more staff, I feel like the one woman was the only one on and that made for a really rough night for her!
Food is delicious and really big serving, but you can’t share. It’s their rule that you can’t share the food. But I’m not a fan of the interior. I know it’s the style, but it looks dirty to me and it’s too dark. Our server was really helpful and nice.
I want to go back and give this restaurant another try. I love the location and the eclectic decor. I ordered the veggie Alfredo but wasn’t too pumped. There just wasn’t a ton of flavour. The drink menu is very minimal. The portions are huge !
Perfect place for a date night! The basement restaurant is unexpectedly beautiful – vintage decor and string lights, tiny tables placed far apart. The classic spaghetti was really good – meat sauce jam packed with the flavour of a fresh tomato, pasta cooked al dente. The ravioli had the same great sauce but the meat filling needed more spice. Would fa back again (for the spaghetti). Oh and the portions are HUMUNGOUS. stephaniealau.com
