Went for dinner 12/02/16. Restaurant has been renovated since the below review and is updated. The hostess was friendly and we were seated immediately at 6:45 on a Friday night and it was busy. We ordered the perogies for an appetizer which came out quick and they were excellent. Our mains were the 1/4 chicken dinner’s with fries which did take a while to come out. A different waitress brought out the chicken and forgot the extra order of chalet sauce we ordered. Our waitress walked by and noticed it was missing and brought the sauce out with out us having to flag her down which was excellent. For dessert I ordered the pecan pie which was delicious. Overall great service and excellent value.
This is the worst Swiss chalet in the world! Every time I went there I would ask for dark meat… Every time they said there is no more. Food was always Luke warm. Service is slacking. Used to be a great place to go. Love that hickey sauce though
Avoid this Swiss Chalet. This is a Swiss Chalet badly in need of modernization. The staff is so-so, it’s dirty, and I guess I just don’t trust how clean it may be in the kitchen. The location on Highbury @ Cheapside is also older, but in much better condition with much better service.
