You are welcomed when entering the Deli. Small but cozy. Friendly staff. Very competitive prices. We visited on a Saturday which was slow but I am sure it’s busy during the week. Very good deli sandwich. No homemade soup on Saturday. Free Wifi. Two hour free on street parking on weekends.
If deli is your thing, this has a creative lunchy menu (stressing sandwiches) that explores a few twists on the traditional. Buns and ingredients are of good quality and the staff is friendly and engaging. Not a ton of seating, but varies between cafe tables and booths. Reasonable prices.
I can’t believe I didn’t see this place sooner! I was sad when the sandwich shop closed in the towers. So happy I accidentally found this place on a weekend shift! When he ran me up I was shocked that the bagel and brownie were under $7. They were both so delicious too! Highly recommended. I’ll never go to Subway again.
Delicious – great experience. I dropped into their Richmond location when I was in the area on business and was pleasantly surprised. Received excellent and speedy service right from the start. The guys there were very friendly and enthusiastic. They custom ‘built’ me a gargantuan hot deli sandwich before my eyes. It came out just like you see in the pictures. You and me both know you can never expect this – but apparently here this is normal. Soup on the side was also spectacular. Grabbed a hot coffee from their selection to wash it all down. Delicious. Tremendous experience – hope to be back when the opportunity arises and will recommend!
Happened upon the Gourmet Deli while in town on business and was waking to the office one morning. Over the weekend even took my family in twice! Everything we tried was awesome. The coffee, the baked items, the breakfast burrito, the egg on bagel (try the everything bagel), and my wife is still taking about the Swiss almond mocha frappe!!! The owner was super friendly, gave us recommendations on site seeing, and was an overall great host and advocate for London. You gotta stop by if your nearby, you won’t be sorry!!!
Loved it. Was the nicest soup and sandwich I’v had. Fresh, Fresh, fresh, I got alpha sprouts as a topping, what a nice addition. Staff, owner were there and they were beyond nice and helpful. I say this a lot, but it was a bit pricey, but top quality stuff. no comparison!
