We ate there at the recommendation of our host at the Residence Inn.. We wanted a good meal. We were warmly received by the hostesses and told there would be a 25 minute wait but if there were seats we could eat in the bar which we did. Our waitperson Aleasa was amazing. Knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions, checked back in a timely manner. Service was presented in a timely manner. Food was excellent. My grandson had the 10 oz filet and mashed potatoes. I had the artic char which was amazing. We had the brownie sundae for desert. The ice cream was amazing the warm brownie just fair. We would definitely eat there again. Hats off to ALeasa on her fast day as a server. She did great. Ask for her if you stop by.

The keg is one of our favourite places to eat and we have been to 10 of them in 3 provinces. This was the first one in London and located in a unassuming stand alone location near the White Oaks Mall. We have usually had the same carnivorous meal here – top sirloin with Caesar Salad topped off with coffee and cheesecake and last week was no exception. Everything was done to perfection and the service excellent. High price would keep most from it being a regular haunt other than special occasions but that’s okay to as it deserves the specialty tag. The only restaurant in London to compete with the Keg for a good steak dinner was the former and now closed Outback less than 1/2 mile from this place. Sorry to see it go as their steak preparation was pretty close in quality to the Keg.

Make sure you’re ready for a long wait time. They take no reservations on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday’s; and it is quite busy. Expect about 50min wait. Food is not bad. Appetizers are small portions. They are amazing if there is a mess up with an order and really make the situation better. Friendly staff sure to help you have a great evening.

Never a cheap night at the keg, but always a great one. The food and the service are exactly what you expect: excellent. Steak and lobster is a must. I will be back!

We reserved.. Ceaser salad was below par.. 3 croutons and no bacon ? Ask for wine to be served with our main course it arrived when we had completed half our meal. Steak was very good. That’s about it.. So if I could order again I’d order just the steak forget everything else its below standard.. I went because I get a gift card otherwise I would not go there..

Freak Show. Blackened sirloin was cooked to perfection, nice, tender – way over seasoned. Tasted like seasoning, not sirloin! Brutal for the price. My colleagues meal was the nightmare. He ordered from their gluten-free menu. First up, the keg ceasar salad. So, they brought him one with crutons! Perfect! May as well given a diabetic a sugar creme donut! They replaced the salad, but that took about 10 miinutes, maybe more. Choices on the gluten free menu are sparse. He really wanted fish, but the only offering was Sea Bass. He opted for the ribs and chicken, but only the ribs arrived on his plate. The chicken showede up later with an apology. Zero class from a restaurant chain that supposedly prides themselves in customer service. I own my own business – this is definitely NOT how you do it. Done with the chain. Movin’ on to better fare. Should’ve gone to Bertoldi’s. Classy, always great!

Consistantly great experience.. I’ve been coming here periodically for years. I went last Friday and had one of their specials. The food was fantastic and the server was beyond professional. She was attentive, prompt and knew about everything on the menu. Very pleased. Expensive, but you get what you pay for here.
