The tasting room never fails to be the best restaurant in London Ontario every single time I go there. From drinks to bread to the best appetizers in the world to the amazing delicious entres and even the desserts I have never ever had anything less than amazing. New butter every night and always equally delicious

The Tasting Room is always great value for $The food is consistent, portions are very generous and the menu always leaves me with too much to choose from! My absolute last meal fave is the ahi tuna and wedge … there are no words to describe the culinary experience! Just go!!! Youll be glad you did – it takes yummy to the next level

This restaurant is well known downtown in London (Ontario) and is conveniently located near to the Grand Theatre. I visited, recently, having planned (for some time) to experience the lunch menu of appetizers coupled with a flight of wines.

Came here and enjoyed the bruschetta, the way you could build it yourself was awesome. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. Spot was cozy. Made a reservation on the weekday at prime time and service was still fast. Price was steep but worth it. Would recommend.

Went here before the Circle de Soliel Avatar show at the Bud. It was one of the most incredible live special effects shows Ihave ever seen. Went to the Room before the show which is next door to Garlic’s. One would wonder about the wisdom of having two competing places next door to each other. They are so close that diners often walk into the wrong place. Once you have visited them both you would easily note their differences. The Tasting Room stakes it’s success on offering wine tastings on its menu. Patrons each pick 4 different brands and they are given 4 glasses each with a 2 ounce serving of their 4 selections. Most patrons are here for the wine and the food. It is not a large overall menu but is very heavy on a great variety of appetizers. Many patrons select from the appetizers for a delightful shared meal and that is what we did,We started with the warm house bread with a balsamic butter and it was very good. Our great waiter suggested we order other appetizers in waves until we filled up and we took his advice. The first appetizer was an artichoke garlic creamy dip. I like this dip and have ordered it at many places but I have to say this was the best I ever tasted. We next each ordered the Caesar salad which was loaded with real bacon bits and also ranked as one of the best we had had. Had a distinct garlic flavour. Pity those sitting near us at the Bud.We next shared an order of bacon wrapped scallops which were well presented and delicious. We then ordered the calamari tray which included a slightly hot cream dip and accompanied by a bed of hot cooked jalapeos. This was very tasty although it could probably do with less salt in the breading.Patrons seemed to enjoy the atmosphere of the wine fuelled place and that and low ceilings result in it being very naturally loud.We liked this place for its food, great service and friendly atmosphere and plan to return.

Very Good Food At A Reasonable Price. The Lunch Menu Has Some Incredible Specials And The Steak Is A Great Deal. While Parking Is A Bit Difficult Because Of Its Location, The Lunch Itself Is Worth Going And It’s One Of My Favourite Places To Frequent For Food. Sometimes The Service Is Inconsistent, But The Food Does Make Up For It.

Consistent Food & Service. I do not have enough praise for this place. It is regularly packed and I have yet to have a bad experience during one of many visits. Wine flights are great, food is amazing and service is always professional and friendly. No matter how busy, the staff handle themselves calmly and attend to every customer as if they were the only patron.
