Have been a regular for almost 20 years and anyone Ive taken there or recommended the restaurant to has become a regular. Food is always excellent, the spring rolls are to die for and prices are very reasonable. Occasionally they may be a bit slow getting everything out and dishes dont always come out at the same time but its worth it, the food is that good.
Given the choice,I would expect kids to pick McDonalds or a pizza parlour. What a surprise when our young grand daughter said That noodle place. We knew exactly where she meant and now we know she appreciates good food. Our family are semi regulars and always greeted warmly by Mr.Long who runs his business along with several family members. They bring menus,an order form and FREE tea. This is a little unusual in the restaurant business and is much appreciatedWe come here for consistently good food @ really inexpensive prices foregoing more modern rooms in nicer locations to do so.We find ourselves in a rut with dishes we really like- spring rolls, shrimp, crab, and won ton soup, vermicelli and crisp chow mein. This visit we changed it up a bit by ordering a beef and rice noodle soup – grand daughter ate every last drop by herself! She even tried to pick up the noodles with chop sticks and had a ball trying! She completed her meal with 2 of those delicious crispy spring rolls.I had a hearty beef stir fry with lemon pepper sauce.- lots of chunky beef, red & green peppers and onions – quite tasty and very colourful but the sauce was overpowering with black pepper. Next time,Ill go back to the crispy chow mein!
You won’t come back for the dcor or ambiance but the food is very tatsy, fresh and served hot. The menu has vegan and vegetarian options but I wouldn’t want to attest to the accuracy of that…just enjoy and try not to think about it.
