We’ve been to Wimpy’s a few times and haven’t been disappointed. We have mostly had their breakfast, but my husband and I shared a strawberry milkshake and it was SOO delicious!!! My husband also raves about the poutine!Serving sizes are okay, not the best for the price, but the food is delicious. The coffee isn’t the best, but it’s drinkable. I suggest if you’re having homefries to request them to be deep fried. They’re good simply pan fried, but better deep fried (isn’t everything?). It is expensive for breakfast, but it doesn’t have to be. The waitresses are all super nice and pretty quick service, even when they’re busy!
Average at best. Food is prepackaged frozen stuff. Well at least the burgers and fries. Waitress was slow and shuffled her feet as she walked. Place was freezing!Not horrible but a disappointment for what it cost. Probably wont go back.
Terrible value. My worst visit to a Wimpy’s ever. I used to go to the Scarborough location when it was one location. It was great. Things then went to so-so and hit and miss. I went to the London location with a co-worker and we hated it. The food was a poor value and on top of that it was served cold. My friend was interested in breakfast but not at 11 bucks (I feel the same). We had $12.99 turkey diners. The veggies were stone cold. I mean like you left them on the counter for 2 hours cold. Everything else was barely warmer. Even the gravy was cold. I had mashed and they were warm……about 10 minutes previously. It made me suspect of the turkey freshness because serving poultry cold is dicey at best. To be clear this was 11:45 and the place was not too busy. The lunch rush had not happened. The food did not take too long to get to us so it wasn’t like it was sitting around getting cold. The soup was reasonable warm but not hot either. The waitress was nice and asked if we wanted it heated up but it was lunch and we did not have the time for that (who does at lunch?). We also did not like the idea of eating a microwaved meal, especially a $16.88 one, including tip x 2. Our priority changed from having a nice meal to having to force it down so we could get through the afternoon without being hungry. Terrible. My friend felt the same as me and he said he would never return. As he said, we could have had a sushi buffet for about the same price. I sent a complaint to head office and was ignored.
AWFUL MANAGEMENT. I used to be a waitress at wimpys and the store owners were extremely dispresctful. They swore at their workers, and i was disrespected to the point that i quit. Also food is nothing special and very over priced.
Worth a try, Good!. Finally decided to try Wimpy’s tonight. Greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. First impression the restaurant does have a 50’s feel but also a bit dirty feeling. Wife and I decided on a burger which we combo’d to get the side and drink. The onion rings (side) was a generous amount, good size of rings too. Burger was average. I got Wimpy’s poutine, good amount of bacon, sausage and curds on it and gravy was hot. $25 for meal. Good food for a diner.Wife and I shared everything and we left satisfied.
Better come hungry!. 3 of us came here on Saturday morning. I did not expect the breakfast to be this good. Very surprising! Really big portions with a lot of options to choose from. I got the 5 star and my friends got the eggs benedict. Overall I was very impressed. The whole place is made to look like a 50’s style diner, complete with a classic car couch. I had a great time and the food and service was excellent. I will be coming back and recommending this to my friends and family.
Great food huge portions. The four of us ate here for lunch. The service was great the staff were friendly the food was fast.. the burgers were huge and tasty i had the breakfast and the pancakes were amazing my plate of food was huge.. my friend had the wrap she said it was very good. Overall it was good pricing and good quality will return
