Unfortunately this app does not give the option of giving-4. I got a late night swarma like many times before, but I had noticed that the people working there were using their bare hands to prepare the food. Being in my semi-drunken hunger state, I ignored it. However, when I awoke in my hotel in a cold sweat 7 hrs later I knew what was coming. 36 rounds of vomiting. I kid you not, I lay curled in the foetal position for the entire day figuring the end of days was coming for me. Weakened from the wrenching I managed to leave Ottawa 5 pounds lighter than I started. I think you should stay clear of this place at all costs unless you want to risk the consequences.
Found this on Yelp tonight and thought to try it. Wasn’t that far from me so went for a walk, the place was very friendly and very quick. The food was amazing, best poutine I’ve ever had, real cheese curds!!! Price was good too.
Ordered food from here last @ 10:30 and the food shows up @ 12:00, an hour and a half later. On top of that all the food we order was cold and not fresh. This was the worst $40 I ever spent on food in my life. Also it was the first time I order from here and it’s the last.
I could pass on the shawarma here… I had it once and I found it just really dry and bland. I’ve always been a fan of the poutine though, they used to do a really good job of it. Recently came by and decided I’d check out the shawarma poutine, and the combination of cold meat with gravy that wasn’t quite hot enough to melt the cheese curds didn’t make for a horrible experience – quite the opposite, it was good – but it wasn’t amazing like how I remembered it. Okay poutine. Not okay shawarma.
I ate there last night. I can only comment on the Shawarma Poutine. It was simply amazing. I just might try the chicken one tonight. It was my first time there but will go back for sure.
3 brothers shawarma is the best shawarma Iv had in Ottawa, thus far. The chicken was moist and tender, poutine was excellent food was reasonably priced.
One of the better shawarma’s I have had whilst in Ottawa. The garlic sauce was almost perfect. Also the spicy chicken with spicy garlic sauce was just right, not too hot and a crunchy warm exterior shell. A nice way to end a night out.Enjoy!
