First time eating Korean food. Small place, quick friendly service. Very good had beef stir fry. Definately return. Reasonable price and good servings. Free appetizers and tea.
This is a good place for authentic Korean dishes. I thought it was great and business is booming, considering it was full the whole time. The bibimbap was delicious and the sides were great! The dumplings were amazing as well. Worth a try!
Small hidden gem in Ottawa. Little house style restaurant in downtown Ottawa. We ordered a pork bone soup (Gamjatang) each which was delicious. It was nice to have a few different options such as soup with noodles or tofu or potatoes. The pork was extremely tender came with at least 2-3 large pork bones. Also ordered the rice rolls in the sweet and tangy hot sauce which is recommended. Food came out quick but service was ok. We didn’t get our water until half way through our meal. Will still be back for the exact same meal!
Will never go to this restaurant again. The Chinese waitress is so rude and keep insisting me to speak Chinese. They have Ginseng chicken soup but required pre-order 5hrs. When I phone to order before heading to the restaurant they force me to order 2 Ginseng chicken soups else they don’t serve in a rude manner way. They made a fool out of me by suggesting that I can come to the restaurant and order the soup and sit there wait for 5hrs so that I will be able to order only 1. Why they even have that dish in the menu in the first place but dont want to serve to customer?I will never recommend this restaurants to anyone.
Small little hidden gem of Korean food. The place is often fully packed. The spicy duck is VERY spicy but it tastes great! The food overall is just amazing! hangsfoodbook.wordpress.com
Went on a busy Saturday evening (around 9pm) and got the last available table right away. Unfortunately, they were out of gamjatang (M7) and beef for the dolsot bibimbap (M5), so I had the tofu bibimbap and my partner had the duck bokum (M22). Both were served quickly (but not at the same time) and the food was pipping hot. We both preferred the duck. Service was ok. On the negative side, the place could use a good cleaning (the frame next to our table was full of dust and the washrooms were not the cleanest). But the food was delicious and did not disappoint.
It was Great. We got Soondoubu and bulgogi . It was hearty and it felt like korean restaurants in Toronto. There was a lot of beef in both the soup or fry pan one. I was expecting purple grain rice. But nonethless the main dish was perfect. Would go back again for sure.
