This is like my hangout zone. Whenever I am on campus for the whole day, I go there to quench my cravings for food. The prices are moderate but then I get 15% discount. Also, the dishes are good, not best though! I like this place for their options in gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. You can pick any dish from the menu and let them know how you want it, you will get it. The food pairings are delicious. If you want something healthy while chatting over a coffee with your girls/guys, this is the place! :)I really like this place. <3
Went on Sunday afternoon. Basically had to beg for service to even get a coffee, and the place wasn’t very busy. Then I had to beg for refills. The coffee itself was pretty weak. $1 a cup wasn’t so bad though, but still. I saw someone order their homefries, and they looked awful.I wouldn’t recommend it.
The food was okay but just okay and didn’t reflect the price.
Unfortunately Unpleasant. I really want to like this place. It is a great location, the food is really good and creative. It has a lot of vegan and vegetarian options but the inconsistency and the service make this place barely mediocre.I’ve been here a few times and the second time I was here I ordered the sweet potato fries as I did last time and for $7 the plate came back with barely 6 fries on it, really disappointing for the price.Now here for breakfast and the food was good but the service is disasterous. The server is really doing less then the bare minimum. She is rude, judged my on my menu choices, rolled her eyes when I asked for a coffee top-up after I had been sitting with an empty cup for an hour (had the feeling she was ignoring me). And its not even like they are busy. They had one other table. She seems more preoccupied by filling the napkin dispensers then anything else. And let me tell you, those napkin dispensers were plenty full. Its unfortunate because she had the opportunity to charge me more for that second coffee and potentially increase her tip. I am a student, but I value good service and would have tipped above 15% if the service was decent, even if the food is a little pricey.Its really unfortunate because I really want to come back but the service I have received on several occasions now is so bad I want to speak to a manager because this place has the potential to be the hot spot and his/her staff is destroying their chances.
Half-assed service and food. I ordered the fish n chips and it came without vinegar, tartar sauce and lemon slices… they seem way understaffed and lack professionalism. Even though it’s right on campus, a few minutes walk to the market will get you much better options.
Bad food, even worse service. Overpriced. Rude staff. Bad food. I’ve had the burgers and the poutine. The burgers are painfully bland. The poutine is just a joke. Paid near $10 for the poutine and the portion was way too small. Try to avoid, if you can.
Just awful food. This place is completely awful. Very expensive food for the portion size you get. Attempted to get the all day breakfast. The menu states you get 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausage, 2 slices of TOAST and home fries. The eggs were way over cooked. You get one piece of bacon. The home fries were burnt and instead of toast you get dry old bread. No butter. Not toasted. Everything was unseasoned. This place is a total disappointment and the servers just shrug their shoulders when you tell them this. That’s if you can find your server. My entire table of 6 will NOT be coming back. 4 order errors, missing items, overcooked and way undercooked food, cold plates, cold food, and no spoons for coffee. Instead you have to use a knife. At least the coffee was hot.
