Not very good at all. It tastes exactly the same as Burrito Gringo or homemade. All the ingredients are luke-warm and didn’t taste hot or fresh.
Chipotle is such a great place to get a filling, quality meal on my lunch break! The order online feature is incredibly useful considering there is always a giant line. Before trying this place I wanted to try out the other mexican/burrito places in ottawa, specifically the more locally owned Burrito Gringo and the other franchise Mucho Burrito, and neither of them came close to the quality of Chipotle. Maybe it’s the high turnover of all their ingredients but everything feels fresher, the guac doesn’t have time to brown, the meat is never dry and they also fill the burrito bowl up as much as possible, whereas with the other burrito places it was only one scoop of everything. Worth a try if you’re on your lunch break/looking for something fast!
Burrito bowl with barbacoa beef and guacamole was generous and filling. Fresh toppings and reasonably fast service considering the long line of customers. Recommend adding corn for the crunch factor and the hot salsa for extra kick.
