We went at night : Amazing views (at night and I don’t doubt for the daytime as well). Incredible drinks. Atmosphere is loungy and classy. Good music. This is my new fav place and I can’t wait to go back to try more things off their menu. I hope they keep this place as it is, not too packed and simply amazing.
Easily the best place in town for drinks. Went with a friend for his birthday party and we had a reservation. The service was pretty good for a Saturday evening considering they were packed from 10 pm to closing. There’s a great view at night and considering the location and atmosphere, the price of drinks isn’t as expensive as you’d think. Some of their cocktails are amazing, it’s definitely a place to try at least once. You won’t be disappointed.
This is the rooftop bar at the Hyatt Andaz hotel. Though the view is impressive, the service and offerings are just ok. And for the price, they should really be mindblowing. This place tries to produce eclectic hipster cocktails and small plates but, in my opinion, without the attention to detail and craftsmanship of other Ottawa Byward Market spots, like Albion Rooms. If you’re going to charge 16$ for a cocktail, it should be freaking well thought-out and not just weird for the sake of being cool. bjutie.com
