Had a burger and fries. Good burger, meat-to-bun ratio was perfect. Bacon was great. Fries were nice too, similar to McDonald’s fries. Service was quick and waiter was good for soft drink refills. Only complaint was that the music was way too loud, which made conversation really difficult. Also, the menu lacked selection, so it’s a tough place to go if you have a picky eater in your group.
Went there is August with a friend. The food was absolutely disgusting. Calamari and artichoke kale dip were not edible. We didn’t finish (or get half way) through the food. Service was also very terrible. We had no cutlery, no water… no service. The positives of this place is the patio in summer, the music, the vibe and the drinks. Drinks were good! So : go for drinks and drinks only!
I’ve been here a couple of time for appetizers. I will say frankly that I am not a fan. The food is lacklustre and lacking originality. With so many places in the market you can surely give this one a pass.
Went here on a Wed as we were in Ottawa for a couple days. The street was lined with lots of restaurants but decided on this one because of the big patio. I ordered the fish tacos and they were ok, nothing special. The service was decent too but the patio misters can become super annoying while you’re eating and especially at night when it’s not that hot outside. The crowd itself was full of university students and I wouldn’t recommend going there unless you’re 25 years old or younger.
Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. It started with the terrible tap water, which led to horrible ‘signature’ cocktails (which my girlfriend sent back).The hostess took our drink order and then our waitress tried to take our drink order. Our appetizer came out and within 10 seconds our mains came out. We had to get our appetizer to go. The waitress was quick to blame the kitchen staff for the mistake. The burger was dry and the house salad came with almost inedible veggies, due to the style in which they cut them (swirl)Paying the bill was also a hassle. The hostess brought the bill and we paid it. While she adjust her tiny dress and checked herself out in the reflection in the window. The waitress came over and asked how we’d like to pay. No communication at all between the staff.All in all I would never go back or tell anyone to go there.
The to go to place! Great music,always! Their drinks are pretty good and so is their food! Love it! Service is always super friendly. They open till late too!
I ordered their Kale Caesar salad with cheese and steak, and my friend ordered their Caesar salad. They brought mine out without steak, and brought hers with chicken. They took them back, and only at this point did they ask how I wanted my steak cooked, which I said rare.They brought them back out, and the steak was closer to medium well, than it was rare. It was tough and flavorless. The croutons were basically inedible they were so stale.The service wasn’t really exceptional either. I definitely won’t be going back.
