Good place to go to at any time of the year. The restaurant has different seating areas, such as inside, outside (in front of the store) and even the roof. I came here with my friends during the fall, and everything went pretty well. Our server was friendly, and the food was good. I would recommend going here because the food is pretty cheap, and they give good servings.
Ive come here on several occasions. The line up sometimes is ridiculously long on weekend evenings/night. But when I go its usually during the day and at quieter times. I wasnt disappointed any of the times I came here. Ive had some of there vegetarian/vegan things. Ive had some of their burgers; and everything was delicious and very filling. And yes everything (minus the drinks) is at $5! It can get a little loud so if youre not into that; its just something to keep in mind. But overall I would recommend! And theyre quick!!
Sandwich missing 2 ingredients. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that’s the way it is. As I left the restaurant I checked the menu and realized I was right. I told the manager and he didn’t acknowledge the mistake or offer apologies.
Because all food is only $5, don’t expect crazy portions. However, the quality of the food is amazing. You may have to wait a bit to get in depending on the time of day.
Me and my friend had a terrible server named Rebecca from Toronto you has worked there for 3 weeks. She was extremely rude. Honestly, she put us both in a bad mood. She made us stay outside when we could not eat because it was so windy. She said there are no seats available. My friend checked and they were half empty inside. We asked to move again and she made as sit at the bar which we refused. She made us pay and tip her before we even ate. It was terrible. She didn’t give us any water or napkins. We received angry and dirty looks from rebecca while we were eating. The food was good but the server was so terrible we would never come back. They need to re think who they hire or better training to new staff regarding customer service.
I come rather frequently as it’s a cheap place to get food with your friends. But the food is very hit or miss. The burgers, onion rings, perogies, chicken strips and fries, yam fries, mac and cheese and fish tacos are good but some items are just bad. The braised beef spaghetti tasted like watery noodles, tacos had decent flavor but were tiny, baked potato skins were just potato chips before getting fried and seasoned (dry disks of potato), quinoa salad was so salty I couldnt finish it, you get my point. I’ll probably keep coming because it’s cheap and convenient and some of the food is pretty good but I wouldn’t recommend it. Service is decent (quite inconsistent), ambience is very loud (too loud to carry out conversations in some spots) and hipster.
