There were almost 30 of us, and we were going to be late – after 9:30. We called and Shawn said he’d figure it out. And he did. Service was fast, food was great, and atmosphere with Shawn regaling us with stories, talking bourbon, and making sure we were comfortable was fantastic. Loved that they went out of their way for us.
Damn. That was food! Lots of gluten free options for my family without sacrificing any flavour. Ridiculously delicious! Friendly, smiling staff, great casual relaxed atmosphere, you can bring a fun date or your family for an outing. Not too bad on the wallet either.
Amazing food so flavourful and lots of selection – seriously everything they have is the best. The mac and cheese is our favourite, and the smoked chicken, ribs, and fried chicken are the best of the best! Service is awesome too – you can tell they love working there, and they have great menu recommendations. Live music is good too that really adds to the atmosphere 🙂
We came here on a quiet Mon night to celebrate a friend’s bday party. Although it was a quiet night, not many people in the restaurant, the staff were really slow and not interested in helping us. We asked for drinks several times and some of them we never received. The food was good but the flop of the night was when the kitchen staff decided to start cleaning their smokers…the whole place filled up with thick grey smoke in minutes! After coming home all of my clothes and hair smelled like I had been standing in front of a barbeque for a couple hours, absolutely disgusting! They never apologized for this or gave us any discounts. I would have wanted to send them a bill for having to take my jacket to the dry cleaners after a ‘fun’ bday night.

Do yourself a favor and go enjoy this place, its utterly amazing! The menu is huge and has a great selection of BBQ and Soul Food. The servers are freindly and the atmosphere is just plain fun. I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect, easily the best fried chicken i have ever had! Try the Collard greens as a side and enjoy the cornbread. All and all i left full and happy. I will definetley be returning and recommending it to people.
Good Southern food. Portions are immense and really filling. Go in with a hungry stomach!A friend and I stopped by for a quick dinner. Since we were not really hungry, we each ordered the smoked chicken wrap with two sides: tomato and feta salad, and mac and cheese. The wrap was very good with roasted chicken inside and a BBQ dressing. My mac and cheese was delicious, but very filling. And my friend’s salad was… a salad (serves her right ordering a salad with so much southern deliciousness on the menu). Service was great, but that’s perhaps because the restaurant wasn’t packed on a Monday night. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Definitely would go back to try more on the menu!xoTheLipstickFoodie
