I couldn’t tell from the glass that the vegetables were spoiled until I received my noodle bowl. Everything was soggy and had a rotten taste to it. The noodles tasted stale and the sauces could not mask the rancidness. Isn’t this place supposed to be known for its freshness??? Highly disappointed!
Freshii is a great little place close to the University campus that is quite popular with the student population. They operate like a healthier and more complex version of subway with choices such as wraps, salads, soups and burritos. You can custom make your order or get a preselected choice. I ordered a custom made salad with chicken and 8 different veggies( it’s up to 6 veggies with extras being .25cents not including premium toppings that are a little more) Very efficient and a healthy alternative to all the fast food places around the downtown core.
I’m a huge fan of the Freshiifranchise. The concept is built around the idea of customers tailoring their fresh, healthy meal to their own tastes. There are so many great options and combinations available that there is something that will most definitely appeal to everybody. I’ve had a few mistakes with my order at this location, but that happens in this industry. The management has demonstrated that they really do look after their customers and want to make their experience a good one. Great food and great customer service will keep me coming back.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE NEVER AGAIN. Ood for at least 12 minutes with my paperwork in hand and waited to be served. The cashier helped everyone who came in after me. They had changed the way they took orders, where you went up to the far right end and handed in your form and paid at the cash on the left side of the counter….. Guess who informed me of this change? A customer who had noticed that I have been standing there for nothing and being completely ignored by the this girl at the cash. Finally I go up to her to place my order. I order the ASEAN vegetable soup…. OMG …nothing like what I had before at freeshi… Noodles were funny, the soup tasted like nothing. And to make things worse for you they now serve the soups in one of these… Check it out…. Wow really??? Freshii no more… BYE!
AVOID. AWFUL. The portions at this location have become SO much smaller than they used to be. I used to love Freshii, but I don’t think I’m ever going back to this location. The bowls are now only filled halfway. If I wanted half a bowl, I’d order half a bowl.
Horrid service. I just went in now and not a single person at the cash. Instead she was sitting eating a meal and I stood there filling out the clipboard being continually ignored by this girl. I walked out but apparently they’re too good to take my order. FYI it’s 6pm on a Thursday
We’ve enjoyed it in the past, but lately their chicken has become slimy, strange and unsavory. Quite frankly, the quality of their chicken has declined to the point of being inedible. I’ve tried their cajun chicken which disguises the slime factor only slightly with sodium, but alas I think this problem is insurmountable. Freshii customers no longer.
