  I would definitely go on a Tuesday, there’s really cheap tequila and a good crowd. I wouldn’t go here most other days though. It’s only busy then.

  One of the bouncers didn’t like the smoke smell on my shirt so he wouldn’t let me in. I’ve never heard of anything so outrageous. I noticed he had a bullying attitude with other guests also. Bullying makes losers feel better about themselves. They don’t care how rude they are or anything just as long as they seem in control that’s how they get off, like a power trip. The other bouncer told me he was angry today. Like that’s a good excuse? Babies can be angry some days, not full grown men, it’s juvenile how you run your business. I will continue to give bad reviews about Junxion from now on.

  Good music!. I’m not sure if they serve food here anymore – but as a bar/club I like JunXion for the great music. It’s refreshing for an Ottawa bar to play music that isn’t completely outdated. The drinks are okay – I suspect the mixed drinks are a bit watered down. But nonetheless, still a place to have a good time.

  Manhandled at entrance, used to be a frequenter. I myself used to frequent junXtion throughout my Master’s degree. I arrived here with my staff this Saturday night. I myself had had 2 drinks beforehand between 8pm and 11pm. As we stood in line to get into the club I watched as all of my staff except myself and my coworker got in. I was ok with this since I knew how popular the club was and knew that they were probably at capacity. We waited, she had more concerning matters to deal with and left. I decided to wait since I wished to spend our holiday party together. However as people left they refused to let more in. I waited 15mins by myself and finally they let people in. I made a side comment about how they took enough time (even though I had already said to the bouncer that I understood, that things were busy) he suddenly they literally pulled me out of the line, forcing me to drop my wallet. If I hadn’t screamed at him to stop physically moving me and let me have my wallet back I doubt I would have received it. I have been going to this bar for 3 years. Never in my life have I been treated this poorly in my life nor have I experience physical force simply due to a side comment. I will never be frequenting this bar again.
