We were at Memories on a rainy Canada Day weekend. With a larger group, they sat us upstairs which provided a pleasant casual environment in which to watch the rain pounding the greenhouse windows. Our servers were friendly and took good care of us. The soup of the day was carrot and roasted pepper which people on the way out had recommended. They weren’t wrong. Food portions were reasonable and no one complained about their meals. There is a wide range of deserts that should tempt just about any palate. The carrot cake was well above average, but the chocolate cake got mixed rave and fair reviews. The cake slice sizes were huge – easily enough for two people. Personally, I enjoyed the restaurant, and if they provide consistent service and food offerings, it would make my list of go-to places if I were a local.
