Went there for brunch today, very average restaurant for the following reasons : you never ever ever do eggs Benedict with an hash brown potato instead of English muffins, the home style potatoes were all different cuts and shapes, no consistency, very small portion for the muesli and slow service. Be your own judge but for me I won’t be back.
I had high hopes for this place. The staff are very sweet but the food doesn’t come up to the expectations and price. I feel I could of gone to a pub and gotten better presentation and tastier food. The oysters I had tasted fine, but nowhere close to Whalesbone oysters (which btw is amazing!) The poutine I had was basically mccains shoestring fries with three tbsp of gravy and a cheese curds. Not impressed for a poutine at this place. My friend had the burger but she it tasted bad that she couldn’t finish it. She isn’t picky btw, which surprised me. Her burger had nothing else to garnish the plate. A diner would have a much better presentation. I’m just so disappointed The wine was good though. Other than the wine and staff, the rest was not executed well. I didn’t take any photos because I didn’t feel like looking at the food again. They need a new chef for sure.
