This place was difficult to locate. I got lost twice trying to look for it. FYI, turn right into a lane off the main street and you should see it. On my third attempt, I finally made it. Once inside, I was bombarded with the gorgeous smell of freshly baked muffins and pastries. The outgoing and friendly barista was a pleasure to chat with, and I was keeping my fingers cross that her coffee-making skill is as excellent as her social skill. Oh well, it was not meant to be. My latte was way too hot, and lacking strength and depth in flavour. What was good, however, was the peanut butter cookie. It was a super peanut buttery thick and crumbly cookie, and the sprinkle of salt added a another element of saltiness to the cookie. At least I have that to drown my sorrows in.
